President's Address

As we set ourselves up for the challenges ahead, we need to look at our skill set and see if it is up to the ability of what lies ahead. There are many opportunities for you to find professional development either Webinars or meetings of professional organizations. MISGMP is now offering CEU's at their monthly meetings to show the importance of the content of our meetings. Last month "There's a Sales Call on Line 1" was an open conversation of how planners want to be sought after for business and what the industry brings.

When times become tough, don't let professional development go by the wayside. This is the most important time to stick together and share in the misery or on a lighter note turning lemons into lemonade. Our members and constituents count on us to help them.
