This session brings closure to your certification program. It’s an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned and your role and ethics as a governmental meeting professional. This class can be taken only if you are two classes or less from completing your certification (not counting the Wrap-Up/Ethics session) or have been approved under the Grandfathering clause. Required for Government Meeting Specialist (GMS) certification. Counts for the Wrap-Up/Ethics Program for Government Meeting Specialist (GMS) certification.

Top Tips for Government Meetings

top 10 After a brief overview, join one of several facilitated small group discussions around key issues of government meeting planning and share your knowledge and expertise. Each small group will develop a list of the “Top Ten Tips” for their category. All “Top Ten Tips” lists will be compiled and emailed to participants after the meeting, and the “Top Three” from each group will be shared onsite. Help yourself, and others, to think creatively and strategically to solve government meeting planning challenges!
